آیا فرد محبوبی هستید؟ دراجتماع به ما می آموزند یكی از مهمترین نیازهای زندگی این است كه مردم دوستمان داشته باشند.
دوست داریم وقتی ما را می بینند با لبخندی پذیرای حضورمان شوند، به نیكی از ما یاد كنند، و مورد تحسین، تكریم و تمجید قرار گیریم.
اما افراد در نیازهای خود برای محبوبیت و مقبولیت متفاوتند و اغلب كسانی كه بیشترین نیاز را دارند، همان هایی هستند كه دوست دارند با خودشان خلوت كنند اما به لحاظ محبوبیت اجتماعی كمتر چنین فرصتی می یابند.
چقدر خوب می شد اگر كسی می توانست مجموعه قواعدی را مطرح كند تا هر فرد بر اساس نیاز خود به محبوبیت برسد اما متاسفانه یک رفتار به خصوص یا جنبه ای خاص از شخصیت آدمی، ضامن محبوبیت نیست.
